Location/Activities: Schull is a small but very attractive and lively town nestling between the foothills of Mount Gabriel and Schull Harbour. It is one of the most popular resorts of West Cork, especially to visiting yachtsmen. There are a number of outdoor activities on offer including golf, pitch and putt, sea angling, fishing, windsurfing, horse-riding, bike rental and diving.
Proximity: Despite its location Schull remains within reach of all major amenities. In a car Schull is 90 minutes drive from Cork City (70 miles), Cork Airport (73 miles) and Cork Ferryport (Ringaskiddy – 84 miles).
Attractions: In the vicinity of Schull there is a planetarium, fine restaurants, good accommodation, a boatyard, a weekly Country Market and a peninsula rich in archaeology and wildlife. It is wonderful country for walking and cycling and an excellent area for holidays, in winter and summer.
